You can mouseover this icon to see the error message and click it to see further info if available. Also on the monitor list page any time a monitor is down and shows the red error icon Offline you can also mouseover and click that icon for the error details.

Also now available for “big biz” type accounts are traceroutes which can be performed any time a server is found to be down – to enable this feature just check the “TraceRoute Snapshot?” box on the monitor create or edit form (only available on certain types of monitors such as ping). Traceroutes can then be viewed, as the following image shows, by clicking on the info icons as described above.
