Vive la Revolución!

Saturday, July 11th, 2009

Big changes are afoot here at ServerMojo HQ as we prepare for v3 of our server and network monitoring service.. a revolution is in the making so dust off the guillotines and sharpen those blades! ServerMojo is rising!

Phase 1:

We are about to roll out a fancy new design for the site which we believe is looking pretty damn snazzy and which may or may not hint at some of the nifty things to come.. ;)

Phase 2: Top Secret!

This is the big one, the game changer. The changing of the guard and the arrival of the one monitoring system to rule them all. Call it what you will but quite simply you will not ever again need or want another..

Everyone is talking today about cloud computing – we’re going way beyond clouds, we’re talking an El Niño storm!

If you hurry, you could also get your favourite ‘must have’ feature added to v3! Just post in our new feature requests forum – no promises but we’ll consider all suggestions – we may already have it on our todo list for v3 anyway.

Curious? Me too! ;)

If you want to know more, just signup (free!) for a ServerMojo account now and be on the right side of the barricades when the revolution arrives!

4th of July Downtime

Saturday, July 4th, 2009

Its the 4th of July and those of you in the US will want to go out celebrating independence day – but do you know if your servers are online while you are out having fun?

You certainly don’t want to be worrying about it while you are out or manually checking every now and then while enjoying the festivities and you also don’t want your site or any part of it to be down all night.

Clearly the solution is automated monitoring with alerts such as provided by our service here at ServerMojo! Setup a bunch of monitors and go out partying safe in the knowledge that if the worst happens you will at least get notice almost immediately and can then take appropriate action to minimize any damage or losses which might otherwise spoil your day.

ServerMojo offers both free and premium monitoring accounts to suit every budget and even premiums come with full featured trials so signup now and give it a try!

Happy Independence Day!

Mini Uptime/Downtime Chart Buttons

Saturday, July 4th, 2009

You can now show your uptime/downtime, current status and response times on your site with handy mini charts buttons!

Go to your ServerMojo account and view any of your charts now and you will see a ’share’ link above – just click that to get the code and paste it on your site or anywhere you want.

For example here are the mini charts for Bing..

And this is Google..

The buttons link to your public (if you made them public) stats page for that specific monitor.

The examples above show downtime but you can show uptime instead depending on the setting you chose for your account.
